Imogen Poots
For her enigmatic savvy.
One gets the sense that Amber, despite her churlishness, is also thinking about
others, including the audience.

Century Women – Greta Gerwig
For her intrinsic impulses. Abbie might be her
greatest creation so far but Greta's somehow kills it every time.

For her astonishing
assuredness in her every action. She is somehow both the nuttiest yet most
reasonable character in the piece.

– Linda Emond
For such a heartbreaking
portrayal of a personal war lost. In spite of her sternness, she somehow
projects love in every scene.
1. Certain
Women – Lily Gladstone
For the greatest display of
empathy in 2016. Although not in this register, her performance is a herculean
achievement in undertaking.
